My name is Jay. I love the outdoors, fishing, boating and rockhounding. I have collected mineral specimens now for about 5 years, and I am planning to continue to do so forever.

My wife and I have a cabin at Leesville Lake in Ohio, we really enjoy spending our weekends there, that is when I don't have to work. In the last few years we have been taking rockhounding vacations; New Jersey, Maine, NY etc. I am hoping to make it to Canada next year.
